These downloadable PDF Calculators were created as a rapid and convenient means to calculate and document estimates of Glomerular Filtration Rate. Once downloaded, use directly from the desktop. No internet connection is required. Completed forms can be 'saved' and 'printed'.
Three (3) versions were created to accommodate 3 equations, original MDRD Study Equation, MDRD Study Equation for creatinine methods traceable to isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS), and CKD-EPI 2009 Equation.
New CKD-EPI Equations incorporate Cystatin C in the calculations

Validation of the eGFR PDF Template calculations is advised using LINKS PROVIDED TO internet calculators, such as those provided by the National Kidney Foundation - (also provides downloadable calculators for portable devices (iPhones, etc.)
These calculators can be used by clinical laboratories as a standardized means for periodic evaluation of accuracy of calculations being reported from laboratory information systems.
